TE Jimmy Graham will sign with Packers or Saints

According to Gregg Bell of the Tacoma News Tribune, Graham is now expected to either return to the New Orleans Saints or sign with the Packers.

It appears, as of now, that the Saints are the heavy favorite to sign Graham.

Bell tweeted Graham will sign with one of those teams and that his days in Seattle are over.

Last season with the Seahawks, Graham caught 57 passes for 520 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Graham would provide the Packers with a playmaking threat at tight end.

Green Bay has gone through an offseason of change already with Ted Thompson stepping aside from his general manager position.

The Packers need a veteran tight end after deciding to replace Jared Cook with Martellus Bennett last offseason.

A Graham addition, which would cost roughly $7 million per season according to Spotrac.com, would likely end Sims' time in Chicago.

The Packers are trying to bolster an offense that is beginning to show age on the outside.

All of that being said, it is certainly intriguing to see the Packers being aggressive in free agency.

Expect to hear more news come out in the near future about Graham and where the next chapter of his career will be played. He's still only 31, so it makes sense that the Saints would be interested in bringing him back after they looked like a Super Bowl contender in 2017.
