Storm Team 11 Forecast: Snow and rain across the area


Winds could gust as high as 30 miles per hour. Low: 25. Day: Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance for snow showers early becoming steadier in the afternoon/evening. Next chance of precipitation is on Wednesday for the west.

Saturday: A slight chance of snow before 2pm, then a slight chance of rain and snow between 2pm and 5pm, then a slight chance of snow after 5pm.

Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. South southeast wind 6 to 11 miles per hour.

A slight chance of rain and snow showers before 10pm, then a slight chance of snow showers between 10pm and midnight.

Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Saturday night will be cloudy with a 30% chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 47. Wind: N 15-20 miles per hour.

Low pressure will develop off the mid-Atlantic coast early Wednesday and move into the Gulf of Maine Wednesday night into Thursday morning. West northwest wind 10 to 15 miles per hour becoming north northeast after midnight.

Showers will move in Monday and highs will be in the lower 60s.

Thursday, March 8: High: 30. South southwest wind around 15 miles per hour.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 31. South wind around 10 miles per hour. Friday night will be mostly clear with lows in the mid-40s. A weaker secondary low may form over the Maritimes Saturday and circulate moisture across the Valley Saturday into Sunday, producing snow showers across the region. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Wednesday Night A 50 percent chance of snow. Thursday Snow likely. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 45. South wind around 15 miles per hour. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 25. Breezy, with a west northwest wind around 20 miles per hour.
