Stephanie Skipper on The Voice Tells Kelly Clarkson "Don't Apologize"

Stephanie Skipper on The Voice Tells Kelly Clarkson

Clarkson put hers to good use, stealing an artist from Keys. If you saw it, you already knew that her rendition of judge Kelly Clarkson's "Piece by Piece" scored big.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Blake admitted last month that Kelly hadn't been going easy and wasn't exactly playing nice with him and fellow coaches Adam Levine and Alicia Keys just because it's her first season on the show as a coach after appearing as a mentor and performer over the years.

That meant Hannah had to choose between Kelly, Adam, and Blake. She took the first step in getting her career back on track with a powerful cover of Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools".

"It doesn't make it easier to be Kelly's friend going into this thing in a competitive nature", the country singer said of the newbie coach, according to Taste of Country.

Bransen performed "Tulsa Time" by Don Williams, and both Blake and Adam turned around. "You're a genius from the Genius Bar, offered Adam, "So don't be a PC about this". Kelly and Blake have been putting their playful banter on full display during Season 14, which debuted on NBC earlier this month.

Although Blake insisted it was a no-brainer for him to turn around for the artist and he'd love to work with her, Livia chose to join "Team Alicia".

17-year-old Livia Faith is from Stanton in Powell County. Adam has 10 singers in his team so far, which means he has two slots left in his team, while the rest of the coaches can choose only one contestant each on Tuesday. Teana Boston, who sang Rihanna's Unfaithful, and Hannah Goebel, who took on the song If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys, joined the team. "The heart and the soul is there and I think that is the only place, at least on my team here, is the only place I'd ever want to start", Levine said. Kelly's strategy worked, as she snatched up an artist that would've definitely gone to Alicia.

The final week of Blind Auditions begins tonight as coaches Adam Levine, Alicia Keys, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson continue the fight to get the best artists possible for their teams before the Battle Rounds begin next week.
