SP's Naresh Agrawal joins BJP

SP's Naresh Agrawal joins BJP

"I have been compared with those who dance and work in films", Agrawal said, a comment that the BJP quickly shot down. He is welcome. However, his comments regarding Jaya Bachhan ji are improper and unacceptable.

This text was sent after another SP leader, Naresh Agarwal, joined BJP in Delhi.

Agarwal was welcomed to the party in the presence of Union minister Piyush Goyal at the BJP headquarters in Delhi."I think it is important to be part of a national party to serve the nation better and that is why I have taken the decision" Agarwal said. Akhilesh Yadav led SP has selected Jaya Bachchan as its candidate. Agrawal claimed that he had put forward "no conditions" to join the BJP, adding that he was "back to my original place".

Piyush Goyal said that under the chief ministership of Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has seen a new era of development.

Reports suggest that Agarwal was unhappy with the party president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for giving the ticket to actor-turned-politician Jaya Bachchan in the Rajya Sabha seat. We will do seva for the BJP.

Naresh Agarwal is not the first Samajwadi Party leader to head to BJP. At the same, he expressed his gratitude and respect for the SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav.

The senior leader said he did not have any demands from the BJP. Naresh Agrawal was a prominent Samajwadi Party leader who has represented Hardoi constituency seven times.

Agarwal, who has been one of the most vocal critics of the Narendra Modi government and the BJP in the Rajya Sabha in the last few years, described his joining the BJP as "homecoming". The Samajwadi Party has 47 MLAs in the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh Assembly.
