Rick Pitino, bitter at Louisville's 'board of traitors,' wants back into coaching

Former Kentucky basketball coach Rick Pitino could be returning to the SEC, according to ESPN's Jay Williams.

Pitino was sacked as Louisville basketball's head coach in October after he'd been implicated in an alleged conspiracy with Adidas to pay $100,000 to a five-star recruit.

He then spoke again of Pitino to Georgia on College Gameday Sunday morning.

"Every night I go to bed, I'm bitter at the U.S. Attorney's office and at the Board of Traitors at Louisville", he said.

Practically alongside the news of Fox's dismissal, Mike DeCourcy of Sporting News reported former IN coach and current ESPN analyst Tom Crean would be interested IN the job at Georgia.

"I've been assassinated by the Southern District of New York without any wiretap or shred of evidence, and the University of Louisville".

The University of Louisville Athletic Association voted to terminate Pitino's contract with just cause in October.

"I've never offered any player $5", he said. "I'm not bitter at the school, but at the board of traitors". Dave Bliss has gotten multiple jobs in recent years, and what he did at Baylor was light years worse than what Pitino is accused of doing at Louisville. Once the news cam out, within a month, Pitino was sacked. He was ultimately fired in October after being implicated in an alleged "pay for play" scheme involving a relationship with Adidas wherein he supposedly directed payments to top recruits. Pitino denied any knowledge of those actions, but the NCAA still stripped the school of its 2013 national championship, the first basketball title ever vacated. Pitino admitted to having sex with her in a Louisville restaurant.
