Pogba's absence met only by apathy at United

Manchester United were given a huge boost in confidence as they managed to put daylight between them and their arch-rivals, Liverpool, after a deserved 2-1 victory over them at Old Trafford on Saturday.

"But I think that when a team arrives in the last eight anything can happen".

United head in to the second leg having drawn the first leg 0-0 in Spain so Mourinho will be confident of getting the job done on home soil to book their place in t he quarter finals of the Champions League.

The La Liga side go into Tuesday's game knowing a score draw will be enough to seal their passage past Jose Mourinho's men, but, as they found out in the first leg, finding a way to beat De Gea is easier said than done.

He is not the only player posing selection posers for Mourinho, though, with Marcos Rojo, Ander Herrera and Daley Blind also nursing knocks which kept them out of United's latest training session. Kick-off is at 19:45GMT, but we'll have build up for you before then before team news is out an hour before we get underway at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba was forced to sit out Manchester United training on Monday, casting doubt over his involvement in their Champions League clash with Sevilla.

"It is a big opportunity for us, " said the Italian, who will be without former Manchester City wide man Jesus Navas through injury. They also registered a comeback 3-2 win against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park after losing 0-2 early in the second half earlier this past week.

On the other hand, Sevilla are coming off a 0-2 loss against Sevilla the last time out.

United will on Tuesday host Sevilla in the second leg of their round of 16 tie after holding the Spanish side to a 0-0 draw in the reverse fixture three weeks ago. Nzonzi has played in 16 out of Sevilla's 17 games since the turn of the year. Will they pull the upset, or will United hold on?

With Pogba missing, Mourinho could well go for the same starting line-up as we saw against Liverpool. Keep your best stuff for the @FIFAWorldCup this time.
