PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) Xbox One update brings various bug fixes

PUBG has seen many updates on both Xbox One and PC since it released previous year (one of the more visible updates came in the form of the starting area being removed on Xbox One), and players' obsession with the game is still going strong.

There are twelve default emotes available, and there are more on the way.

Following the update, players will be able to use 12 different emotes; PUBG Corp. says it will further expand the system with more emotes in the future. Do you think they chose the right approach?

To use the new emote menu, hold down the ~ button and left-clicking the emote you want activated.

Update: The new PUBG update is now live, along with the full patch notes.

A friends list specific to PUBG has been added to the game, and you can add up to 50 people to the list.

More new and much-needed features will soon be added to "PUBG", and players are advised to keep their eyes open for announcements.

The PUBG team also explained that alterations to limb and vehicle penetration have been delayed: "Unfortunately, there's been an adjustment in our plans, but we will be sure to give an update on this at a later time".

According to Bluehole Inc, this will include mitigating lag and stutter instances and alleviated frame drop and lag occurrences happening when players are pushed together.

There are also still plans to introduce and test the new limb and vehicle penetration system, but this has been pushed back for now. How should they handle cheating in PUBG and are they going down the right path?

So, the developers made a decision to roll back the update and work on it until it's more stable.
