When musician-filmmaker Boots Riley's Sorry to Bother You premiered at Sundance earlier this year, EW's Chris Nashawaty called it "the most outlandishly surreal, straight-up WTF movie at this year's festival, hands down".

SORRY TO BOTHER YOU opens in theaters July 6.

The cast includes Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Patton Oswalt, Steven Yeun, Terry Crews, David Cross, Danny Glover, Omari Hardwick, Marcella Bragio, Tom Woodruff Jr., Kate Berlant, Jermaine Fowler, Robert Longstreet, Teresa Navarro.

Set in Oakland, the film follows Cassius Green (Lakeith Stanfield), a black telemarketer trying to navigate an alternate-reality version of a very white corporate office.

Boots Riley also wrote the film, and at SXSW he spoke about breaking conventions out of "wanting to have people engage with the film in a different way, to not be able to guess exactly what will happen". A mixture of comedy and social commentary, "Sorry To Bother You" explores the dangers and benefits of approximating whiteness.
