Karachi Kings eye PSL play-off in clash against Qalandars

Sunday night at Dubai witnessed the most thrilling contest in the Pakistan Super League as Lahore Qalandars prevailed over Karachi Kings in the Super Over with the match tied after 20 overs of both innings were bowled. "This is part of our agreement with the West Indies board", Sethi told reporters, adding PCB was unlikely to make any profit from the series.

West Indies have agreed to play 3 T20 matches in KARACHI on 1,2 and 4th April.

Earlier, Lahore was announced as the venue of the West Indies matches but the PCB was encouraged to host the matches outside Lahore after Karachi was declared safe by global security experts last month.

Sethi also had a message for those doubting that the Pakistan Super League 2018 final will be held in Karachi.

International Cricket Council's security consultant Reg Dickason will visit Karachi during the PSL final to assess security arrangement for the Twenty20 series.

"That is how we intend to put Karachi back on cricket map once again. Karachi people should welcome this", said Sethi of Karachi, where the last worldwide was a Test match against Sri Lanka in February 2009.

Talking to a private news channel, Bazid, who represented Pakistan in one Test and five ODIs between 2004 and 2008, said that the third edition of PSL shows that we have also improved our standards of fielding.
