Iwobi Stars, Cech Keeps 200th Clean Sheet As Arsenal Stay Sixth

After suffering defeats in their last three domestic games, Arsenal show class in decimation of Watford Arsenal ended a three-game Premier League losing streak with a 3-0 victory over Watford on Sunday.

The former Czech global saved Troy Deeney's penalty to become the first ever Premier League goalkeeper to go 200 games without conceding, after Ainsley Maitland-Niles' clumsy challenge on Roberto Pereyra inside the Arsenal box.

Arsenal: Petr Cech 8 (out of 10), Ainsley Maitland-Niles 6, Shkodran Mustafi 7, Rob Holding 7, Sead Kolasinac 6, Mohamed Elneny, 7 Granit Xhaka 7, Henrikh Mkhitaryan 7, Mesut Ozil 7, Alex Iwobi 7, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 7.

After Watford's 2-1 win over Arsenal at Vicarage Road in October, Deeney criticised the Gunners' players and their character.

"We are in a job where we have to get the fans on our side and do absolutely everything to achieve it".

"It's an unbelievable personal milestone obviously", Cech said.

Arsenal are also vying for a spot in next season's Champions League through the Europa League.

But it was the Watford skipper's own bottle which was called into question at the Emirates as he saw a second half penalty saved in a routine win for the home side.

The north London outfit had been on the back of a number of successive defeats, which had included a League Cup final loss against Manchester City, a Premier League clash with the same opponents just days later and an embarrassing showing against Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend.

But Deeney, who had scored three times in his past four appearances, had a day to forget on Sunday as his penalty was too close to Cech in the middle of the goal, and the Czech saved it.

"I think the team did very well and we are all happy, we are feeling better of course".

"He had to wait a while to save a penalty, and it's quite fortunate that it's against Deeney", added Wenger. Ozil became the fastest player to reach 50 assists in the premier league.

Aubameyang has walked into the Wenger Out saga and he was asked whether the manager was taken for granted.

"Overall it gets us out of that negative spirit that we were in", he said.

"When he gets on it and you give him a little bit of time to play, he can manoeuvre the ball so well".

Towards the end of the video, Mkhitaryan says to the fans: "You know we are always playing for the fans and it doesn't matter if they could have come today or not".

The 28-year-old has sat out three Europa League ties so far - both legs of the last 32 against Östersunds and the first-leg of the last 16 at Milan, which Arsenal won 2-0.
