Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's advisor VK Jain resigns

Reacting to the government's move, Tiwari said, "It is clearly established before the traders and people of Delhi that the Arvind Kejriwal government not only neglected its duty on protecting the traders from sealing but it also complicated the issue to an extent that Centre is also facing difficulties in bringing an end to the sealing crisis".

An all-party delegation will meet a Supreme Court-appointed monitoring committee to seek a solution to problems posed by an ongoing sealing drive, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday, while hitting out at the BJP for boycotting a meeting called on the issue by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

The sealing drive, which started in December 2017 on orders of the Supreme Court-appointed Monitoring Committee, has affected markets across the city. We will go to the monitoring committee to discuss MPD, its interpretation, and sealing.

Meanwhile, the BJP has chose to boycott the all-party meet called by Kejriwal even as the AAP slammed Tiwari for touring overseas at a time when city traders were facing problems.

Both leaders said that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress MPs will also raise the issue in Parliament. "The BJP can resolve the issue in a day if they want to".

However, after the meeting both Congress and AAP leaders struck a different chord.

"Stop the drama of allegations and counter-allegations on the issue of sealing in Delhi".

Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash was allegedly assaulted by AAP MLAs during a meeting at the chief minister's residence in the evening of February 19.

Taking on the BJP for not attending the meeting, Sisodia said that the ruling party at Centre was not serious and doing politics over the sealing.

In solidarity to Prakash, IAS and Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DCS) officers have stopped attending meetings with AAP ministers, only maintaining written communication with them. "We have given a representation to CM and AAP".

On 28 March, a traders' rally would be held at Ramlila Maidan here against the sealing drive which, the CAIT said, is in "utter violation" of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi Act, 1957.

After the meeting, Maken said the discussion was fruitful. "Hope the Government listens", Mr Maken tweeted.
