Celebrity Announced For The 2018 WWE Hall Of Fame

The Bawitdaba hitmaker has been a longtime fan of wrestling and the organization and has performed at a number of WWE events, including WrestleMania 25 and Tribute to the Troops, according to Billboard.

The WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will stream live on WWE Network from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on April 6.

Kid Rock's musical career began in 1990, but it was the heavy airplay of his single "I Am The Bullgod" late in 1998 where his career exploded.

First reported by Billboard, the artist who had a hand in creating the sound for many WWE Superstars' entrances and setting the tone for plenty of WWE's shows (including this year's WrestleMania 34), will be the sixth inductee for the class of 2018.

Kid Rock will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame's celebrity wing, which already sports a former Governor of California, the current President of the United States, and Drew Carey among its members. I have so much respect for what those guys and girls do.

Kid Rock's association with the WWE dates back to 2000, with the sentient Confederate Flag responsible for entrance themes for both the Undertaker and Stacy Keibler.

The 2018 Hall of Fame class is close to full, so stay tuned to Sportskeeda for further updates on this year's inductees. Kid Rock will officially get the "real honor" in an April 6 ceremony during WrestleMania 34 weekend. I think it would be fitting to have one rock star in Chris Jericho induct another rock star in Kid Rock.
