Brazil has new faces for matches against Germany and Russian Federation

Uncapped Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose and Besiktas midfielder Anderson Talisca were the surprise inclusions in Brazil's squad to face Russian Federation and Germany in friendlies later this month, as head coach Tite announced his squad on Monday.

Willian Jose, a 26-year-old striker, was rewarded for his good season at Spanish side Real Sociedad with his first call up to the national side.

After these two games, the next squad announced by Brazil will be that for the World Cup itself.

"I want to give all the athletes opportunities right up until the end", coach Tite told a press conference on Monday.

Also making his debut for Brazil will be Anderson Talisca, who plays as a professional for Turkish club Besiktas.

The squad includes a host of household names including Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho, Premier League attackers Gabriel Jesus and Roberto Firmino, Chelsea ace Willian and Paris Saint-Germain defenders Dani Alves and Thiago Silva.

Brazil will be away to Russian Federation on March 23 and head to Germany four days later for a match against the defending World Cup champions. It's the final set of matches for national teams before this summer's 2018 World Cup. The World Cup campaign will kick off on 17 June against Switzerland in Rostov. Find us on Facebook too!
