Vodafone, Samsung offer Rs. 1500 cashback on select J series phones

Bharti Airtel, India's largest telecom operator, has entered into an alliance with smartphone and consumer electronics brand Samsung to offer a range of affordable 4G smartphones.

"At the end of the first 12 months, users will receive a cash back of Rs 600 and after another 12 months, a cash back of Rs 900 respectively, thus availing a total cashback of Rs 1500". Also with both the devices, customers can enjoy the Rs 169 tariff plan, which provides them 500MB of data, unlimited voice calls for 28 days. The Itel A41 was launched as Itel Wish A41 in March 2017 with similar features as A40 but with different colour options.

Airtel has announced its partnership with itel to offer cashback of ₹1500 on two itel 4G smartphones - itel A40 and itel A41. Under this offer, Airtel customers can avail the cashback offer on the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017), Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J7 Pro.

Vodafone has announced deals on three of Samsung's smartphones of the Galaxy J series namely - Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt, Galaxy J7 Max.

For instance, for Galaxy J2 which is available for ₹6,990, the company will give a cashback of ₹1,500 making the effective price of the smartphone at ₹5,490. After that, they have to do recharges worth ₹3000 in the first 18 months which will get them a cashback of ₹500.

The latest partnership with Samsung, Celkon and Airtel, Intex on Friday, brings the Itel A40 and itel A41 at an effective price of Rs 3,099 and Rs 3,199 respectively. The maximum Rs 1500 cashback is spread over the course of 24 months, so buyers will have to be sure they want to keep the same device around for that long. The second instalment of Rs. 1,200 will be provided after the user completes a minimum recharge of Rs. 2,500 over the next 12 months. The Itel A40 is originally available with a market price of Rs. 4,599, while the Itel A41 is priced at Rs. 4,699.

Airtel users need to make a down payment of Rs 4,599 to buy itel A40 and Rs 4,699 to purchase the itel A41. "We are confident that the partnership will drive 4G adoption across the country and bring the best value to both itel and Airtel customers", Marco Ma, MD, TRANSSION India, said in a statement.
