Odell Beckham Jr., JJ Watt out for season with leg fractures

Veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall's season is over, too.

New York Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will undergo season-ending surgery on Tuesday after fracturing his ankle in Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

Beckham Jr. landed awkwardly underneath Howard and snapped his ankle, leaving his team - already short-staffed after losing three other receivers earlier in the game- to suffer its fifth straight defeat.

Marshall, who was in his 12th season, is a five-time Pro Bowl receiver who has played with the Broncos, Dolphins, Bears, Jets and Giants.

It looked like the three-time Defensive Player of the Year injured his knee, but no official diagnosis has been revealed as of yet.

Mercilus, who is in his sixth season, started each game this year and had 10 tackles and a sack. During his final year with the Seminoles, Rudolph caught 56 passes for 840 yards and seven touchdowns.

Hours after the video was posted on Facebook and Twitter, Foerster announced his departure in a statement released by the team. Foerster has been an National Football League assistant since 1992 and joined Gase's staff in Miami past year.

Briefly: Buffalo starting tight end Charles Clay is out indefinitely after surgery on his left knee. I'm proud to say that after 12 years I've finally became the man I knew I was suppose to be by confronting Adversity with a Smile. Buffalo (3-2) enters its bye week following a 20-16 loss at Cincinnati. The team made some moves Monday by signing Darius Powe to the practice squad and Tavarres King to the active roster. The Buccaneers signed kicker Patrick Murray to replaced Nick Folk, who missed three field-goal attempts during Thursday's 19-14 loss to the Patriots.
